Betty PANAJOL
Originally from Dordogne, Betty moved to Paris to study interior design. After several years of practicing painting, she became interested in photographic art quite recently (10 years).
Completely self-taught, she joined the St-Lazare Photo-Club in Paris in 2016 where she learned the essential basics. In 2018, she joined the Dominos Photo-Club still in Paris and encouraged by the management, got involved in the club as secretary and vice-president.
One thing led to another and the UR18 President offered her the position of General Secretary of the UR18 for 2 years. Unfortunately, the 2 “COVID” years forced her to interrupt this position and she moved to Normandy with her partner Franck Pouquet, a federated photographer for over 40 years. Photography has become a real passion, all styles interest her, but she is more specifically attracted by architecture, street photography and “alternative creativity”. To go on sharing this passion, she joined 3 years ago the Villers sur Mer Photo-Club.
BETTY enjoys participating to many Salons worldwide and got several medals in Belgium and France (inlcuding Salon Daguerre) and continues to train constantly to try new creative approaches, thanks to digital technology without forgetting brushes and paint.
Christian DEVERS
Passionate photographer and graphic designer since 1973, active in many photographic groups in Brussels, Christian has always been attracted by photographic techniques and photomontages.
He is both passionate about film photography and a fervent supporter of digital photography. Founder of the belgian and french photography associations Double Déclic.
President of the belgium “Entente Photographique du Hainaut”.
Commissioner for monochrome paper competitions and representative as ambassador to the Fédération Photographique de France (FPF).
Maitre FIAP and Excellence FIAP Platinum awarded by the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP).
Recognition by the PASCAL English School and Greek School Photographic Club.
Winner of numerous awards and distinctions in international competitions. Belgium representative as a photographer at the International Congress of Qilu (China) in 2007, participating to an exhibition of 30 photographs.
Judge for international photographic Salons in several european countries.
His artistic approach focuses on creating unique images that capture an ephemeral atmosphere and invite to personal thinking.
“I don’t take a photograph, I create it.”
Last but not least, for Christian, photography is a hobby and a link of friendship between photographers and clubs from all over the world.

Marcel VAN BLANKEN
Marcel van Balken is known for his conceptual photography, meaning he creates images that convey an idea or message rather than simply representing reality. His photography goes beyond simply capturing moments; it is a form of art in which he creates his own images and photographs each subject himself with attention to detail. He focuses on specific themes, including architecture, surrealism, street photography and fine art.
Over the past years he won more than 1.250 international photography awards from different competitions and photosalons all over the world, including PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris, Siena International Photo Award, International Color Awards, European Photography Awards, Vienna Photo Award, IPA International Photo Awards.
Van Balken held over 100 exhibitions worldwide, including five exhibitions in the official FIAP Exhibition Centers: Fotograd Negova, Slovenia (2021), Teatro Auditorio del Revellin, Ceuta, Spain (2023), Exhibition Center Jinan, China (2024), FIAP Exhibition Center of Reus, Spain (2024), FIAP Exhibition Center Fotografias Del Mundo, Langreo, Spain (2024).
He has earned the titles of MFIAP and EFIAP/d3, accredited by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), and received the award of Master of Photography (MPSA) from the Photographic Society of America (PSA). He has also been recognized by the Royal Dutch Photographic Society (BMK) for his exceptional work.
