It is based on the success of the previous edition that Salon Daguerre 2021 is launched!
Indeed, despite the particular health context of 2020, 7,377 digital photos were submitted to the jury, coming from more than 600 photographers and from 52 different countries. This very beautiful international diversity offers each year a variety of points of view which makes the interest of this competition.

On February 25th, the 14th edition will be open for submissions
On February 25th, 2021 submissions will be officially open and we hope that many of you will participate. Submissions will close on May 2nd, 2021 at midnight Paris time.
As every year, 5 categories will be offered: the traditional “Open monochrome” and “Open color”, and also, the themes “Summer time”, “Home sweet home” and finally “minimalism”.
These thematic choices, whose definitions are detailed in the entry rules of the exhibition, are undoubtedly influenced by this special year 2020. Like a desire for gentleness, privacy, and sobriety.

Participating in an exhibition corresponds to multiple interests.
Again this year, three talented international photographers will make up the jury: Brigitte Monjaux, France; Eric Forey, France; and finally Luis Leandro Serrano, Spain. Submitting your images to such reviewers is a rewarding experience and an opportunity to progress. Get started!
But the Salon Daguerre is also, above all, a competition – affiliated to the largest photographical federations (PSA, FPF and FIAP). This is the opportunity to win prestigious trophies and medals, as well as cash prizes. The best author is awarded 250 euros, the best club 400 euros.
New for the 2021 edition, the creation of a “best female author” prize which will also be rewarded with a prize of € 250.
See you soon.
